2. Overview
This website publishes product reviews and comparisons. You can read all content without creating an account and without telling us your name. We only process personal data where this is necessary to run the website, to measure and improve our content and advertising, or where you have given us your consent.
Personal data is any information that relates to you as an identifiable person, for example your IP address, device information or your email address.
3. Hosting & server log files
This website is built and hosted with the page builder Funnelish (Funnelish Inc.). When you visit the website, the hosting provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser sends, so-called server log files:
- IP address (shortened or anonymised where possible)
- Date and time of the request
- Page visited and the website you came from (referrer URL)
- Browser type and version, operating system and device type
This data is needed to deliver the website technically, to ensure its security and stability and to detect misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and working website). Log files are deleted after a short period unless they are needed to investigate a security incident.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with our hosting provider in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
4. Cookies & consent
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device. Some cookies are technically necessary for the website to work. These are set on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
All other cookies and similar technologies (for example pixels and tracking scripts used for analytics and advertising) are only used if you have given your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, for example by deleting cookies in your browser settings or by changing your choice in the cookie banner, if available.
You can also set your browser to block cookies in general. Please note that some functions of the website may then not work properly.

6. Links to partner shops
Our articles contain links to the online shops of the products we review. Some of these links are affiliate or partner links. When you click such a link, you leave our website. The link may contain a reference (for example a tracking parameter) so the shop can see that you came from our website. No name or contact details are passed on by us.
Once you are on the partner's website, the privacy policy of that shop applies. We have no influence on how the shop processes your data. The legal basis for the referral tracking is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the correct billing of partner commissions) or, where cookies are involved, your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
7. Contacting us
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you give us (e.g. name, email address, phone number, content of your message) to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We delete this data once your request has been fully answered, unless legal retention obligations apply.
8. Transfers outside the EU
Some of the services named above are operated by companies based in the USA or other countries outside the European Economic Area. Where data is transferred to such countries, we make sure an adequate level of protection is in place, for example through the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (for certified companies) or EU Standard Contractual Clauses in accordance with Art. 46 GDPR.
9. Storage period
We only store personal data for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as required by law. Data processed on the basis of your consent is stored until you withdraw your consent. Once the purpose no longer applies, the data is deleted or anonymised.
